One of my favorite things about being at home is that there is time in my schedule for 'extras.' If a friend needs dinner, I am available for the grocery shopping and the cooking... Or if, say, a friend is getting married in the mountains next weekend, I have time to bake cookies for all her welcome baskets. Love that! :)

a) did you use the royal icing recipe that we used last time?
b) what kind of food coloring did you use in it.
c) did it set up right?
...I used this recipe last week and the icing never dried and set...I'm thinking it might be the kind of coloring I used? what do you think?

yep, I used the martha royal icing recipe...
and I just used regular food coloring (the kind in the red box, not the fancy cake decorating kind)...
and it did set up (it took a couple hours, though)
weird that yours didn't- did you use the fancy food coloring???
yeah, I did...which you think would be better? maybe its because it is in gel form? wierd
